How to Give

The Ambler Theater is a dynamic cultural arts organization dedicated to presenting the best in independent, documentary, and world cinema. Our special programs also include classic Hollywood cinema, a children’s film series, film lectures, and local/student filmmaker appearances. As a non-profit organization we depend on individual, foundation, and corporate donors to help us sustain our expanding programs.

In addition to our memberships and special capital gifts, the section below outlines additional ways you can support the Ambler Theater. Each charitable gift directly supports our mission, and you can be assured that your gift will have a direct impact on our film, education, and outreach programs.

Purchase a Star

You have the opportunity to put a new star in the sidewalk outside the Ambler Theater. Inscribed with your name or to honor or memorialize a loved one, all gifts of $5,000 or more will receive a star on the sidewalk. Gifts may be given over a three year period if you prefer.

Matching Gifts

Do you work for a company with a matching gift program? If so, your gift to the Ambler Theater can go even further in supporting our programs. Many companies will double or even triple employee donations. Check with your human resources department to see if your gift qualifies for matching funds and ask how you can get your gift matched. You can view our list of corporations who have supported us, and ask your employer if they have a matching gift program.

Stock gifts

Donating securities is easy -- and may provide you with tax advantages. Consult your financial advisor to determine whether giving a gift of stocks to support our programs is the right decision for you.
