Angel Member and Flashback Cinema Creator John Hersker will join us to provide a brief introduction to this silly mystery film from the the 1970s.

Written by Neil Simon, this delightfully clever comedy spoofs the classic, Agatha Christie-style murder mysteries that captivated audiences throughout the 20th Century. A millionaire invites five famed detectives to dinner at his remote castle. When they arrive, they are informed that one of them will be murdered at midnight, and whoever can solve the crime will win a million dollars! Sporting an incredible ensemble including Peter Sellers, David Niven, Alec Guiness, Maggie Smith and even Truman Capote!

John Hersker is the former Excecutive Vice President of Paramount Pictures and former President & CEO of Movie Tavern. As someone who has spent his life in the motion picture business (he grew up working in his parents movie theatre in West Hazleton, PA), he believes that films--especially classic films--are best enjoyed on the big screen and with an audience. John's current endeavor, Flashback Cinema is a program celebrating classic movies on the big screen. Various theatre operators around the country participate in the program.
