We are excited to bring Not So Silent Cinema back to the theater to perform live music accompaniment set to this groundbreaking silent classic. The group has composed an original score consisting of klezmer motifs, Gypsy grooves, avant-garde textures, and classic horror effects to get you in the Halloween mood.

One of the most important horror films of all time, F.W. Murnau’s NOSFERATU is a silent German expressionist reimagining of Dracula. Max Schreck gives a chilling performance as Count Orlok, a vampire who journeys from Transylvania to prey on the inhabitants of a small German village. Released over 100 years ago, this film is still celebrated for its atmospheric cinematography and haunting performances. With a remake on the way later this year courtesy of director Robert Eggers, you don’t want to miss this one on the big screen!
