Late arrivals. The Theater reserves the right to stop selling tickets (and seating patrons) after a film has started.
Outside food and drink. Patrons are not permitted to bring outside food and drink into the theater.
Free passes. Exchange your free pass for a ticket at the Box Office. An Angel or Mogul should show their card at the Box Office for a free ticket, also.
Use of membership cards. We've had some good questions about the use of membership cards, so we thought we'd list some clarifications. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us immediately.
Membership Cards should be shown when buying ticket. Showing your membership card moves ticket sales quickly. If you don't have your card ready, that's OK, we'll check your name in the computer, which takes only a moment. Thanks for being understanding about this.
Membership cards can't be used by a non-member. A membership card can only be used for the benefit of the named holder. The card cannot be loaned to a non-member. A member cannot buy a discounted ticket for a friend.
Couple/Dual memberships. Only one couple member need show their card, which is good for two (2) tickets for that couple.
Children of member. A minor child of a member is admitted at the member's price.
Online ticketing. There is a $1.00 processing fee per ticket on every purchase. Online tickets must be redeemed at the theater before the showtime. Customers need to present a proof of purchase in order to retrieve their online purchases at the theater. Proof of purchase includes the credit card that was used in the transaction or the confirmation message sent to the customer’s email. Without this proof of purchase admittance to a show is not guaranteed. Ticket refunds are available at the box office before the show has started; the $1.00 processing fee is non-refundable.
Handicap access. The Ambler Theater is fully equipped for handicap access in all of its theaters and restrooms.
Personal care attendants. Visitors with severe disabilities may be accompanied by paid Personal Care Attendants (PCA) at no additional cost during their visit to the Ambler Theater.
Assistive listening. All theaters are equipped with technology that will amplify the movie audio through headphones. Devices are available free of charge upon request at the concession stand.
Audio description. All theaters are equipped with technology that provides descriptive narration through headphones. Devices are available free of charge upon request at the concession stand. Audio Description is only available for select films.
Closed captioning. All theaters are equipped with technology to provide visual captions using one of two different devices — glasses or cup-holder display. Devices are available free of charge upon request at the concession stand. Closed Captioning is only available for select films.
Open captioning. The theater offers Open Captions shows every Wednesday on select main run films. These shows have full on-screen captions throughout the film. Please check our film listings for the OC icon next to the showtime.
