Cinema Studies
Movies are many things—entertainment, art, and objects of culture and history, to name a few—and there are multiple approaches to understanding, engaging with, and learning from them. Our Cinema Studies program introduces students to new ways of appreciating film and guides them through thoughtful explorations of important movies, filmmakers, and more. Join us to dive deeper into some of your favorites—or to encounter a movie you've never seen—in the company of your fellow film lovers and a skilled instructor. It will be an illuminating night at the movies.
Film Camp
The Ambler Theater is excited to introduce our Film Camp programs this summer! We will have two separate week-long camp experiences, the first with our “Elements of Film” curriculum and the second with our “Intro to Filmmaking” curriculum.

Deep Focus
Deep Focus is an educational series of monthly online seminars with TCM's Hannah Jack. Watch the film at the theater and then join us online to discuss great movies and to increase your appreciation of film. Deep Focus is designed for a general audience – from the casual film lover to the hardcore cineaste. There is something for everyone.
